Presenting the 16th Annual Rotary Club of Del Mar’s Sunset Soirée — virtual edition

The Rotary Club of Del Mar recently announced the launch of its 16th annual Sunset Soirée in a virtual edition platform. The fundraising website is live for direct donations to a number of projects the club supports locally and internationally, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito.

“The annual Sunset Soirée is our largest fundraising event of the year,” says Brett Mattei, president of the Rotary Club of Del Mar. “The funds we raise through the Soirée pay for our direct charitable activities and those of our partners.”

Beginning Monday, June 1, a week-long silent auction will go live. A variety of items are available for bidding, including luxury and local experience packages, jewelry, and premium wines. Tickets for a raffle to win a gift card tree worth hundreds of dollars can also be purchased at the site. The silent auction will close on Sunday, June 7, with a live event starting at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 7.
