Del Sol Lions Club donates $1,500 to help children and families impacted by Hurricane Harvey
The Del Sol Lions Club donated $1,500 last month to the Galveston County Salvation Army after Hurricane Harvey to help thousands of displaced children and families receive Christmas presents.
“It is quite powerful to see the impact of our local group touching the lives of others,” said Brian Hall, president of the Del Sol Lions Club. “One person can make a difference volunteering in their spare time, bringing awareness, listening to those in trouble, and being empathetic of others. This is how the world should operate.”
The Del Sol Lions Club is a 100 percent volunteer-based organization. All proceeds go to benefit local charities. Anyone interested in joining the Del Sol Lions Club can visit delsollions.org.
