Del Mar Heights Elementary School held a SciFri event Sept. 18 in The Heights’ Nature Center. Students had the opportunity to take a close look at science-at-work in the garden covering concepts such as ecology, soil chemistry, worm farming and composting, hydroponics and parts of a flower.
