Del Mar Heights/Hills Friendship Games

pThe Friendship Games event was held June 3 at Del Mar Heights Elementary School. This is a unique event between the Del Mar Heights and Del Mar Hills schools. First graders at one school are assigned a pen pal attending the other school. After a year of corresponding, they finally have the opportunity to meet with their pen pals, have lunch together and play silly and fun games coordinated by Del Mar Heights P.E. teacher Ian Phillips.
