Del Mar Highlands Town Center annual holiday celebration
Del Mar Highlands Town Center hosted its seventh annual community holiday celebration on Dec. 3. Attendees had the opportunity to meet Santa and enjoy a laser light show.
At this year’s event, 16 local schools, San Diego Police Department’s Northwest Division and San Diego Fire Department received donations as part of Donahue Schriber’s commitment to supporting local schools and first responders. Also, representatives from the local Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program were there to collect toys for charity.
The event also showcased the arts, with performances by 14 local elementary, middle and high schools. Performances included Girl Scout Brownie troop members singing holiday carols, numerous choral performances, recorder players, chalk drawing, painting and a high school dance team performance.
