Del Mar’s Summer Solstice, presented by the Del Mar Village Association, was held June 18 at Del Mar’s Powerhouse Park.
The event featured live music, culinary creations from Del Mar’s top chefs and curated selections from California´s best wineries and breweries. Benefiting the Del Mar Village Association, proceeds from the event are dedicated to enhancing the vitality of the historical village.
The event also raised funds for CAF Operation Rebound for a 10 x 20 pop-up tent and 15 wetsuits provided by Matuse.
These will be used for the Operation Rebound surf clinic held every Thursday in Del Mar (located at 17th Street beach). The Thursday surf clinic is an ongoing premier sports and fitness program for American military personnel, veterans and first responders with physical challenges.
