Scoops of support: Handel’s serves up ice cream to Scripps

Handel’s Ice Cream in Del Mar Highlands Town Center is supporting the community by bringing a sweet treat to those who need a pick-me-up during this time.

Handel’s delivered over 500 scoops to frontline workers at Scripps Health San Diego with their “get a scoop, gift a scoop program.” The program allowed customers to donate a scoop during checkout throughout the month of April. The 500 scoops were gifted to ER doctors, nurses and staff at the Scripps Health Hospital.
