Del Mar citizen survey deadline extends to Dec. 31
The city of Del Mar launched a citizen satisfaction survey to better understand the community’s satisfaction with core services provided by the city. The deadline to respond has been extended. The survey will remain open until Dec. 31.
To access the survey, visit www.delmarsurvey.com. If you are a registered voter, you should have received a postcard with a customized access code. You’ll need this code to complete the survey. If you are unable to locate your access code, please call City Hall at 858-755-9313.
If you previously attempted to take the survey and experienced technical difficulties, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please attempt to take the survey again. There have been reports of the survey not working with some Internet browsers; if you experience that, please try using a different browser, such as Google Chrome. Otherwise, hard copies of the survey are available at City Hall, or upon request by calling 858-755-9313.
The survey includes about 20 questions and should take less than 10 minutes to complete online. Responses are completely confidential. Results will be received and tabulated by a third-party consulting firm that specializes in such surveys, and presented to the City Council in early 2015.
Local governments commonly conduct satisfaction surveys to measure citizen opinions on service performance. The city of Del Mar last conducted a satisfaction survey in 2006. The City Council and City management will use the results of this survey to evaluate performance of city services and programs and to prioritize and make decisions on allocating resources for the city’s upcoming budget-setting process.
