David Lizerbram, a San Diego attorney who has served on the board of the 22nd District Agricultural Association since 2011, will step down from the board when his four-year term ends Jan. 15.

Lizerbram announced his decision not to seek another term on the board in a letter to Gov. Jerry Brown’s office dated Nov. 14. The letter was made public as part of the 22nd DAA’s agenda packet for its Dec. 16 board meeting.

The district operates the state-owned Del Mar Fairgrounds. Lizerbram was appointed to the board by Brown.

In his letter, Lizerbram wrote that “my immediate professional and charitable commitments over the next year will prevent me from continuing to serve as a Director following the expiration of my term.”
