Torrey Hills High Five Hawks team wins Champions Award for Presentation
Torrey Hills High Five Hawks won Champions Award for Presentation at the First Lego League Championship held Dec. 3 at Legoland. The team placed first in this division out of 66 teams from all of Southern California.
The Torrey Hills High Five Hawks presented their invention, the EDC Car Wash System, an inexpensive system to capture and reclaim water used for car washes at home that prevents runoff into storm drains and streams.
Now they will take their invention to the Global Innovation Championship.
