Volunteers needed at Flower Fields
The Flower Fields is looking for volunteers for the upcoming spring season. Duties include leading walking tours for children. Library holds free college info sessions
The Oceanside Public Library hosts two free informational sessions about “What Students and Parents Need to Know about College” at 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Oceanside Civic Center Library, 330 N. A car-menorah parade for the Hanukkah season will start with the lighting of the menorah at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chabad of Poway, 16934 Chabad Way, and travels to Westfield North County mall in Escondido, culminating in a celebration with menorah lighting, doughnuts and a Hebrew school performance at the mall’s second-floor entrance.
