A celebration of man’s best friend

Pooches and pals gathered at La Colonia Park in Solana Beach on Sunday, as the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission presented its annual Paws in the Park event.

The day was complete with dog and owner exercise courses, a Bernese mountain dog carting demonstration, a dog agility demonstration, flying disc dogs and pet contests.

There was also a Neuter Scooter for pups to get fixed. A number of pet service representatives were also available as well as adoption agencies.
