A show of fright

Carmel Valley resident Joe Pasquarello has quite the hobby: One that scares and entertains the whole community. Pasquarello has decked out his whole house for the Halloween holiday with eerie music, robotic skeletons, a giant cobweb over his garage and an even bigger spider. Gravestones, ghouls and grim reapers fill his front yard and a headless ghost haunts a seemingly harmless tomb. Be careful walking near the wrought iron fence, a mourning widow skeleton is sure to spook you.

The display comes alive at twilight and will run until 9:30 tonight and on Halloween. The “haunted” house is located at 10741 Cherry Hill Drive near Sage Canyon School.
