Aaron Johnson knows how to play it safe
When it comes to playing it safe, Aaron Johnson is an expert. After all, he’s been working for more than 25 years keeping other people safe through his national security management and consultation firm, Johnson & Associates. In his line of work, he’s provided personal protection for the likes of Cindy Crawford, Paris Hilton, Serena Williams, and Magic Johnson. He’s also overseen security for major conventions, entertainment and sporting events, such as the Super Bowl.
When he’s not keeping other people safe, Johnson is likely spending time with his wife Tanya, and their 5-year-old daughter Ayana. Johnson was a scholarship football player at Arizona State University, where he earned a degree in criminal justice.
Johnson is also active with several nonprofits, including The Crime Victims Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Diabetes Association and the San Diego Blood Bank. He has also been commended by the San Diego Police Department’s Northwestern Division for implementing a successful Neighborhood Watch group in Pacific Highlands Ranch and a Carmel Valley Neighborhood Watch website,

What brought you to Carmel Valley?
The beautiful homes, the nice neighborhoods and the schools.
What makes this community special to you?
The close proximity to great schools, library, parks and beaches.
If you could snap your fingers and have it done, what might you add or subtract to improve the area?
I would add a nice late night dining restaurant, a Whole Foods store and a sports bar. And I’d subtract all the empty lots full of weeds.
Who or what inspires you?
My late mother and father.
If you hosted a dinner party for eight, whom (living or deceased) would you invite?
Martin Luther King, Jr., Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali, Dick Gregory, Bill Maher and Charles Barkley. I would definitely want my mother and father to be there, so I can laugh with them and let them know how much I love them and appreciate what they did for me.
