Amigo Club ‘Friends’ launched
The Don Diego Fund, which provides scholarships to high school seniors who participate in the San Diego County Fair or other activities at the fairgrounds, has started the Circle of Friends $99 Amigo Club.
For a $99 donation, Amigo Club members receive free admission to Del Mar Fairgrounds events, beginning with one free admission to each day of the 2010 Fair. Membership also includes one stretch run pass to each racing day of the 2010 Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Race Meet, July 21 to Sept. 8, four single-day passes to Surfside Race Place, and single admission to Scream Zone, Holiday of Lights and Pelly’s Miniature Golf.
The Don Diego fund is also holding an online auction through July 6, with proceeds going to the scholarship fund.
