Apartment fire in Torrey Highlands displaces occupants
Nine people and three dogs were displaced by a fire in a two story apartment building in Torrey Highlands on Thursday, authorities said.
The fire was reported shortly before 9:20 a.m. in the Milazzo Apartment Homes on 13280 Via Milazzo, according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, but four adults, five children and three dogs were displaced, the dispatcher said. No one was reported injured.
The dispatcher did not immediately know the cause of the fire or how much damage it caused.
