Area schools closed due to flu

San Diego State’s campus daycare center is temporarily closed Monday as a precaution because 20 children and three staff member have reported flu-like symptoms.

Also closed because of suspected cases of the so-called swine flu are Kearny Mesa High School, the School of Creative Arts in Paradise Hills, and Mission Hills High School in San Marcos.

All four closures are scheduled to last until May 18th, or until testing deems the schools safe

again.

There are now 15 confirmed cases of Swine Flu in San Diego County.
