Art guild show awards prizes

The San Dieguito Art Guild awarded more than $1,000 in prizes to 16 artists at its 15th Annual Small Image Show in December at the Off Track Gallery in Encinitas.

There were 161 entries judged by Helen Shafer Garcia.

Best of Show went to Toni Williams of Solana Beach for “The Compliment” (oil), Vita Sorrentino of San Diego for “Ready to Pounce” (first place, watermedia), Deborrah Henry of Encinitas for “Abstract Boats” (first place, photography), Dani Dodge of San Diego for “Uncharted Territory #4 (first place, mixed media), Kevin Ferguson of Encinitas for “Swami’s” (first place, oil/acrylic) and Karen Howard of San Diego for “Cherries” (first place, other media).
