Bond with baby at infant massage class starting Oct. 7
A four-week class in Infant Massage is offered by the Tree of Life Birthing and Parenting Center in Encinitas, starting Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Infant Massage is an age-old tradition that enhances an infant’s physical and emotional well being. It helps parents give their new babies the best possible start in life. Infant massage promotes parent-child bonding while improving circulation, digestion and sleep. It is beneficial to all families, including those with premature infants and those with special needs.
The Birthing and Parenting Center is at 617 Saxony Place, Suite 103, Encinitas. Classes will be held from 11 a.m.-noon Tuesdays, with the first class Oct. 7 and the last on Oct. 28.
Classes will be taught by Rhonda Epstein, a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist with a diverse background and more than 20 years of experience. Cost for four classes is $75.
