Burglary suspects arrested in Del Mar Heights neighborhood

Two male home burglary suspects were arrested in the Del Mar Heights area just after 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 18.

A neighbor near the burglarized home on Dunham Way reportedly saw at least one of the suspects leaving the home and called police. A police helicopter was also called to the area, according to one report.

It is not yet known whether the two suspects were also involved in a series of recent burglaries in the Carmel Valley and Del Mar Heights communities. All five of those crimes occurred between Oct. 27 and Nov. 7, said Capt. Lori Luhnow, who heads the San Diego Police Department’s Northwestern Division on El Camino Real.

As more information comes in, this report will be updated.
