Carmel Valley Dons Flag Team having fun
The Carmel Valley Dons Flag team (some players in photo at right) is off to a great season under head coach Bob Prag. “With players this age, my highest priority is for the boys to have fun, get some exercise, and develop solid fundamentals and techniques in football,” said coach Prag. The team is made up of 5-, 6- and 7-year old boys from the Carmel Valley area. Practice is held twice per week at Carmel Valley Middle School with games held each Saturday. Home games are played at Manchester Stadium on the Cathedral High School campus.
In a recent victory against the Inland Valley Titans, the Dons #8 Jake Troxler scored on a 70-yard kickoff return. #21 Ryan Bouzan provides important blocking to allow for Jake to get around the Titans defenders.
