, the award-winning social media platform, recently announced that it and CEO and co-founder Nichole Goodyear, a Carmel Valley resident, have been honored as finalists in the 7th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, an international competition recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women executives and business owners. Brickfish was honored in three categories: Best Entrepreneur of the Year — Nichole Goodyear (Services Business — Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations), Most Innovative Company of the Year, and Technology Innovator of the Year.

The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards.

Founded in 2005, Brickfish has generated over 300 million brand engagements and delivered over 500 results-driven programs for leading brands such as Microsoft, BlackBerry, Estee Lauder, Coach, Barilla Pasta and Neiman Marcus. Under Nichole Goodyear’s leadership, Brickfish has been awarded the prestigious Red Herring Global 100 Award and an OMMA Award for Best Viral Campaign. She was recently elected to the Social Media Advertising Consortium (SMAC) Standards Board and chaired the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) working group that created the nation’s first Social Media Buyer’s Guide.
