Carmel Valley Spurs finish season with win

The Carmel Valley Spurs defeated the Furious Ponies, 66-55, on June 11 in the fifth/sixth-grade championship game in the Master Sports Carmel Valley OPEN Basketball League.

Over a nine-game season, the offense scored 633 points while giving up only 346 on defense. The average game score was 70-38.

The Spurs had the best rebounders, best shooters, and best defense in the league all season long.

This game capped a memorable season for a team that finished with a perfect 9-0 record. Congratulations to “CV Spurs.”
