Coastal Artists show featured

A reception is planned for Aug. 27 featuring the show “Lifting the Spirits” at the Solana Beach City Hall Art Gallery.

The multimedia exhibit features painting, sculpture, jewelry, print and photography by 16 artists from the Coastal Artists Group. Put on by the City’s Public Arts Advisory Commission, the exhibit runs through Sept. 30.

The reception runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The gallery is at 635 S. Pacific Coast Highway in Solana Beach. There is no charge, and parking is free.

The Coastal Artists Group is a nonprofit association of multimedia artists. Its exhibits are always shown in free, public places.
