Counterfeit money circulated

The Sheriff’s Department is warning Del Mar businesses to be on the alert for two young women that paid for items in the village of Del Mar with counterfeit $100 bills. The women visited three stores at around 11 a.m. Tuesday. The bills are “old style” with the last digits 6E.
