Del Mar TV to host oceans talk, screen underwater footage
Dive from the sky and into the deep blue ocean in the second of Del Mar Televisions Foundation’s Oceans Awareness Series.
Former curator for field operations for the Marine Biology Research Division at Scripps Institute of Oceanography Eddie Kisfaludy and American Academy of Underwater Sciences research diver with the Scripps Institute of Oceanography Natasha Stenbok, also a meteorologist at Channel 8 in San Diego, will speak at the Del Mar Communications Center at 7 p.m. Dec. 9.
Kisfaludy and Stenbok will share their diving & filming experiences off Baja California.
Kisfaludy now owns Oceans Aloft LLC, a private consulting company specializing in the support of unique oceanographic, cinematographic and aviation related projects.
Stenbok also volunteers at the Birch Aquarium.
