Gunman robs Papa John’s Pizza shop in Carmel Valley

Police are on the lookout for a gunman in his mid-20s who robbed a Papa John’s Pizza shop in Carmel Valley at Piazza Carmel shopping center.
The man entered the eatery at 3810 Valley Center Drive at 10:55 p.m. on Aug. 9, brandished a handgun and demanded cash from employees, said San Diego Police Officer Gerry Waclawek.
The suspect fled in a white car with an undisclosed sum, Waclawek said.
He was described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, muscular and wearing a red shirt.
