Higgs Fletcher & Mack promotes Solana Beach attorney to partner

Higgs Fletcher & Mack, a San Diego-based, full-service law firm for more than 75 years, recently announced that it promoted Solana Beach-based attorney Jason Ross to partner.

Ross was among three attorneys promoted, the other two including Loren Freestone and AnneElise Goetz. Their advancement brings the organization’s partner total to 49 and was based on numerous factors, including professional expertise, ethics, judgment, leadership, client responsibility, productivity, business development and community involvement.

“Loren, AnneElise and Jason were all selected because they possess the qualities we look for in partners. They’re all extremely talented and are valued members of our firm. These promotions are well deserved and we’re proud of their accomplishments,” said John Morrell, managing partner of Higgs Fletcher & Mack.

Ross has been at Higgs for nearly seven years, and his practice primarily involves defending businesses and employers of all sizes in complex business, employment, and class action litigation. He represents employers in employment litigation, including claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment, amongst others, as well as large-scale wage and hour litigation. A recipient of the San Diego Daily Transcript’s “Young Attorney” award in 2011, Ross received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia University.
