Linguistics professor to speak

George Lakoff, a linguistics professor at UC Berkeley who has been a vocal critic of recent developments in the UC system, will speak at 6 p.m. March 5 at UCSD Center Hall 105.

He will speak about how to pass the California Democracy Act.

A notice about his presentation states, “If passed, it would require only a 51 percent majority to make much needed changes in our state government.”
