Ma resigns San Dieguito school post to head for Monterey
Steve Ma, associate superintendent for business services for the San Dieguito Union High School District, has resigned, according to Superintendent Ken Noah.
Ma, who has worked at the district for 14 years, is leaving to join Monterey Peninsula College as vice president for administrative services on Sept. 1.
“Steve has contributed immeasurably to the success of this school district and leaves behind a legacy of calm, wise and graceful leadership,” Noah said. “He will be missed. I will miss him, but know that he is following his dream (to assume an executive level position in higher education}.
Noah said this week he plans to ask the board of trustees to appoint Eric Dill as the new associate superintendent for business services. Dill has served the district for nine years, most recently as the executive director of finance.
