Man stabbed in Del Mar

A man is recovering after being stabbed late Sunday, June 29 in Del Mar.

Police arrived to the 200 block of Fourth Street just before 8:30 p.m. and found Charles Seiler, 25, with injuries to his abdomen. He was taken to Scripps La Jolla Hospital.

San Diego County sheriff’s spokeswoman Melissa Aquino said she could not release details about his injuries, but that the victim would reportedly recover.

Police also could not release any information on whether or not there is a suspect, but no one was arrested at the scene.

“Deputies went to look around. They set up a perimeter and tried to look for the suspect,” Aquino said. “They did not arrest anyone at the scene. Whether they have a suspect in mind or they’re investigating someone, I cannot share that, because that’s part of the investigation.”
