Nettle Creek Interiors moving to Del Mar

Nettle Creek Interiors, a company specializing in high-end home furnishings and design, is moving from its La Jolla location to Del Mar.Nettle Creek has been headquartered in La Jolla for 38 years but, as of Monday, Nov. 1, the company will operate out of the Southfair complex off Jimmy Durante Boulevard.
Partners Marsha Paine and Rebecca Jessen said the new location will be more central for their clientele.
“We know the Del Mar community very well, and we’re thrilled to be here,” Paine said. “We certainly hope neighbors will come in and see what we have to offer.”
The 2,000-square-foot retail gallery will feature an extensive selection of furniture, fabrics, lamps, artwork and unique accessories. Some of lines carried in stock include Baker, Hickory Chair, Harden, Hancock & Moore, Karges, Pearson, Fremarc and Fine Art Lamps.
Paine and Jessen, both of whom are certified through the American Society of Interior Designers, also offer design services, which are offered complimentary if a client purchases home furnishings from Nettle Creek. Design services include special order furniture, re-upholstery, and custom window treatments and bedding. Paine and Jessen also can assist remodeling and new construction projects that include custom kitchens, baths, built-ins and home theaters.
“We are happy to with the architect’s plans all the way to furnishing the home. We work with our clients from the ground up, literally,” Paine said. “We are a full-fledged design studio and we can accommodate many styles, from eclectic to contemporary. We really do aim to design specifically for each client.”
