OPINION: Work with us, San Diegans

In response to the letter to the editor published recently in this newspaper titled “What are Del Mar’s Priorities?” by Theresa Murphy, Carmel Valley.

Perhaps Theresa Murphy could direct her anger and suggestions at the correct entity if she were aware of the political boundaries of her local area. She faults the City of Del Mar for not taking care of overgrown brush in her own city, San Diego. Del Mar has just taken strict measures on both public and private property to abate overgrown brush and other fire dangers within its boundaries, which are over half a mile removed from the site that she mentions. I, for one, am glad to live in the City of Del Mar. Work with us San Diegans.
