Pinback kicks off Del Mar Race Track concerts

Pinback will open the summer concert series Friday night at the Del Mar Race Track. While a rotating cast of instrumentalists perform under the Pinback name, the partnership of Armistead Burwell Smith IV and Rob Crow is at the heart of the most complex, postmodern sounds on the West Coast.

All racetrack concerts are Fridays and select Saturdays at the Seaside Terrace, west end of the grandstand, with a scenic Pacific Ocean backdrop. Concerts are free with track admission purchased prior to the last race or $20 for concertgoers entering after the horses have left the gate for the last race.
