SunshineKidsJim Stinnett of Prudential California Realty is collaborating with Viejas Casino to hold a poker tournament benefiting the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a charity devoted to children with cancer, on November 18th at 5 p.m. in Viejas Casino. For the cost of a $100 buy in, competitors in the Texas Hold ‘em style tournament will have a chance to win door prizes, enjoy a light buffet and receive a cash payout if they make it to the final table.

Stinnett, who will be donating his time to emcee the tournament, joined Prudential’s La Mesa office in 2009 after a successful career in the furniture and interior design industries. Drawing from the knowledge that allowed him to create intelligent and functional designs for retail furniture stores, as well as for residential properties, he provides his clients with thoughtful ideas for renovation and useful suggestions about how to maximize the potential of a property.

“Moving into the real estate business was a logical progression for me,” said Stinnett. “When working in design, I loved the opportunity to help my clients make their home a personal oasis. Now working in real estate, I am honored to assist in my clients search for the home of their dreams.”

The Sunshine Kids Foundation sponsors numerous local and national activities, trips and events—all focused on enhancing the quality of life for children receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America. With a substantial amount of funds originating from the agents at Prudential, the foundation is able to offer children the opportunity to participate in a broad array of group activities at no cost to their families.
