Rancho Santa Fe Chabad Jewish Center celebrates Chanukah

Chabad Jewish Center of Rancho Santa Fe hosted a Chanukah afternoon craft at the Rancho Santa Fe Library on Dec. 2, the second day of the eight-day Jewish holiday. Rabbi Levi Raskin had children help him use an olive press to turn olives into olive oil to light the menorah. The holiday celebrates the miracle of one container of olive oil lasting eight nights of the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
