Rotary Club hosts exchange students

The Del Mar-Solana Beach Sunrise Rotary Club is hosting 10 students from around the world for their annual youth exchange program. For two weeks, the students experience Southern California culture, including surfing, kayaking, sailing, a trip to Old Town and to Universal Studios.

The group gathered at Powerhouse Park last Sunday for beach time and a barbeque. Their fourth day in the United States, a few students were already sold on sunny San Diego.

“It’s good, I don’t feel like going back,” said Mahima Koteshwar Suresh, a 15-year-old from India.
