The partnership among the San Diego County, San Dieguito Union High School District, city of Solana Beach and Friends of the Solana Beach Library is stronger than ever. Representatives from all of these groups met last week to discuss improvement plans for the shared-use library on the campus of Earl Warren Middle School in Solana Beach. As part of a districtwide construction program, the aging school on Stevens Avenue is set to be razed and replaced. Plans for the library include new study rooms, a community room and an expanded book store for the Friends of the Library.
