Solana Beach Little League crowns Brewers as champions

Little League International celebrated its 75th season this year, and Solana Beach Little League recently completed its 57th season. The season ended with the crowning of the Regular Season and Tournament Champions. The Majors Division Champion Brewers, sponsored by Baum Orthodontics, won the Solana Beach Little League Majors Division regular season and tournament titles and finished third in the annual post-season Coast Cities Tournament.

The Brewers finished with an overall record of 18-5-1, which featured wins over teams from not only Solana Beach but Del Mar, Encinitas and Rancho Santa Fe.

Solana Beach’s Juniors Team also won their regular season title facing teams from leagues throughout San Diego County. The lower division Champions were the Orioles (AAA Regular and Tournament); the Braves (AA Regular); the Giants (AA Tournament).
