Solana Beach Retail Center hosting Holiday weekend to help kids

Beachwalk Retail Center, a Solana Beach neighborhood mainstay, invites San Diego to get into the holiday spirit by hosting its 1st annual Holiday weekend open house on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 1-5 p.m.

There will be live music, holiday gift specials, shopping discounts, food specials, warm cider, hot cocoa, cupcake and cookie decorating, crafts for the kids. On Sunday, Dec. 12, Santa & Mrs. Claus, will arrive aboard a shiny, red fire truck to have breakfast at Pacific Coast Grill from 9 a.m.-noon. People are encouraged to drop off new unwrapped toys and non-perishable foods at Beachwalk to benefit the San Diego Food Bank & Rady Children’s Hospital through the end of the year. All items collected during the toy & food drive will be given to the needy children and families’ right here in San Diego County.
