Student scholars announced

San Diego Jewish Academy has 26 students who have earned Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP exams. Through 37 different college-level courses and exams, AP provides students with the opportunity to earn college credit or advanced placement as well as stand out in the college admissions process.

Senior Shiri Bogomolny qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average grade of 4 or higher on a 5-point scale on all exams taken.

Six students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all exams taken and nine were AP Scholar and Honor Award qualifiers (grades of at least 3.25 on exams). Additionally, 10 students qualified for the AP Scholar Award (for grades of 3 or higher). Above, senior Shiri Bogomolny qualified for the National Advanced Placement Scholar Award, as did fellow student Micah Frank.
