Tree lighting returns

‘Tis already the season! Del Mar Highlands Shopping Center is gearing up for its second annual tree lighting celebration Thursday, Dec. 4, at 5:30 p.m.

Come out for a festive community event including Dickens carolers, cookies, hot cocoa and a visit from Santa Claus. The event is also an opportunity to give back, with a Toys for Tots drop-off. The shopping center is located at Del Mar Heights Road and El Camino Real and the giant tree is hard to miss in the center’s plaza.
