Unidentified suspect wanted for assault with a deadly weapon in Del Mar
San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Encinitas station are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred at Jimmy O’s Bar in Del Mar.
On the evening of July 18, 22-year-old Tory Henry was at Jimmy O’s bar, located at 225 16th Street in Del Mar. At about midnight Henry felt a sharp pain in his lower back and fell to the ground. He got up and continued walking through the bar. He was told, by other patrons, that he was bleeding and left the bar to go home.
At about 9 a.m., the following morning, Tory Henry noticed that the wound on his back was still bleeding. The victim went to a hospital for treatment of a stab wound.
Investigators in this case are also asking anyone who witnessed the incident to please call the Encinitas Sheriff’s station.
