Voices forms advisory panel

Voices for Children announced the formation of its Community Advisory Council and the co-chair appointments of Joan Waitt and Tom Murphy. These two leaders, along with former board members and engaged supporters, will act as ambassadors for Voices for Children, contributing expertise and skills to assist the organization in achieving its goals. The launch of the council dovetails with the 30th anniversary of the founding of Voices for Children.

This inaugural group of 18 Community Advisory Council members will start with a two-year term. In addition to Waitt and Murphy, members include former board Presidents David Archambault and Sheryl Scarano, co-founder and advocate volunteer Kathryn Ashworth, and former board members Dori Kaufman, Eleanor Navarra, and Dale Yahnke. Other members are Joye Blount, Kate Collier, Mindy and Nathan Fletcher, Craig Irving, David and Patsy Marino, Ian Mausner, Cecil Steppe, and Katie Sullivan.
