Wave wins bronze at tourney

The Wave 12 and under girls volleyball team won the bronze medal at the USAV Girls’ Junior National Tournament held June 27-30 in Reno, Nev. The team had a record of nine wins and one loss, its sole loss being to the Puerto Rican national team, the eventual gold medalist, in the semifinals. The Wave team ends the year as the No. 1-ranked team in California and No. 3 in the U.S.
