One of the hottest teams in San Diego County is showing no signs of cooling off in the playoffs.
Cathedral Catholic defeated Mission Bay 92-40 in a Division I playoff quarterfinal on Feb. 23 for its ninth straight win and its 18th in its victory in 19 games.
The win followed a 93-30 shellacking of High Tech four days earlier.
Niksha Federico scored 21 points to lead the Dons in the Mission Bay game and Michael Roseburg added 17 points.
Nick Prunty and Parker Holland added 16 and 12 points, respectively.
Rosenburg scored 20 points to lead the Dons against High Tech.
Federico added 16 points and Prunty contributed 14 points.
The Dons improved their overall record for the season to 26-3.
Torrey Pines advanced to the Division I semifinals with a 52-40 second-round playoff win against Carlsbad on Feb. 23.
The victory followed a 67-40 first-round playoff win against Otay Ranch on Feb. 20.
Dominic Hovasse scored 18 points to lead the Falcons in the Carlsbad game and Sam Worman added 12 points.
Worman scored 13 points in the Otay Ranch game and Brandon Cyrus added 12 points.
The Falcons improved to 8-2 in league and 20-9 overall for the season.
Santa Fe Christian defeated La Jolla Country Day 52-37 in a Division IV quarterfinal on Feb. 23.
The victory followed an 82-32 first-round playoff win against Mountain Empire the previous day.
Grant Corsi scored 21 points to lead the Eagles in the LJCD game.
Brian Finley and Justin Byrd each added 10 points.
Corsi scored 20 points in the Mountain Empire game and Finley contributed 14 points. Jack Langborg and Harrison Wallis added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
The Eagles improved their overall record for the season to 20-8.
Canyon Crest Academy defeated La Jolla 55-42 in a Division III playoff quarterfinal on Feb. 23.
The victory followed a 51-38 first-round win against Crawford three days earlier.
James Chenevey scored 20 points to lead the Ravens against La Jolla and Akira Tachikawa added 18 points.
Riley Adams scored 14 points to lead the Ravens in the Crawford game.
Tachikawa and Chenevey added 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The Ravens improved their overall record for the season to 17-13.
San Diego Jewish Academy lost to Rock Academy 53-41 in a Division V quarterfinal playoff game on Feb. 23.
The loss followed a 60-51 first-round playoff win against Calipatria on Feb. 21.
Ilan Graubart scored 38 points to lead the Lions in the Calipatria game and Judah Rosenzweig added 15 points.
The Lions concluded their season with a 8-13 overall record.

The Falcons concluded their season with an 11-17 overall record.

Cathedral Catholic made easy work of El Capitan in a 6-0 Division III quarterfinal on Feb. 26.
Brittany Doan scored three goals to lead the route and Shclby Cormier added two goals.
Goalie Hanna Macaulay was credited with the shutout.

Carlsbad defeated Torrey Pines 8-5 in the Division I championship game on Dec. 23.
Crystal Lore scored three goals to lead the Falcons and Michelle Martinelli added two goals.
Falcons goalie Julia Hermann had 11 saves.
