Cathedral Catholic (8-2) had a first round bye in the Division I playoffs. The Dons will play host to Olympian (8-3 on Nov. 21.

Torrey Pines defeated Cathedral Catholic 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-16) in an Open Division quarterfinal match on Nov. 16.
Reily Buechler had 15 kills to lead the Falcons and Savannah Rennie added 12 kills.

Canyon Crest Academy lost to Francis Parker 3-2 (25-20, 12-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-11) in an Open Division quarterfinal on Nov. 16.

Santa Fe Christian defeated San Pasqual 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-23) in a second round Division III playoff match on Nov. 15.
The victory followed a 3-0 win (25-13, 25-16, 25-13) against Mission Hills two days earlier.
The Eagles improved to 14-16 overall for the season.
San Diego Jewish Academy lost to El Capitan 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-19) in a second round Division V playoff game on Nov. 14.
The loss followed a 3-0 win (25-16, 25-13, 25-10) against Madison in a first round playoff game two days earlier.
The win was the Lions’ seventh in nine matches.
Sara Chitlik had nine kills and Madison Spiegel had eight kills to lead the Lions against El Capitan.
Lions setter Savanna Lurie contributed 16 assists.
Chitlik had 13 kills and Spiegel added nine kills to lead the Lions against Madison.
Lurie had 30 assists.
The Lions fell to 15-5 overall for the season.

Jordan Colina and Erik Siegel each scored four goals to lead the Dons.
Bennett Royce scored three goals in defeat for the Eagles.

Royce scored five goals to lead the Eagles and Brennan Epps added three goals.
Eagles goalie Jack Atkinson contributed 14 saves.

The Falcons finished with a combined 364 score on the 18-hole par-72 course at Golf Club at Rancho California.
Muni He was the individual champion. She shot a 68 and won a one-hole playoff with San Pasqual’s Haley Moore to win the title.
Other top performers for Torrey Pines were Jennifer Peng, who shot a 74, and Georgia Lacey and Sung Eun Park, who contributed 75 and 79 scores, respectively.
Torrey Pines standout Tal Braude took first place in the Palomar League finals on Nov. 16.
Braude ran the rugged 3-mile course at Kit Carson Park in 15 minutes and 39 seconds, more than six seconds faster than his closest competitor.
Torrey Pines and Westview tied for second place with 47 points, one point behind Mt. Carmel, which won the title with 46 points.
In the girls’ circuit, Jacqueline Garner placed fifth overall, clocking a 16:34 on the 3-mile course at Kit Carson Park. Garner finished 11 seconds behind the winner, Rancho Barnardo’s Nia Akins.
