Winston softball notes achievements

The Winston School’s regular softball season recently ended with a record of five wins and one tie. The following players were recognized for achievement in the sport at the school’s annual awards ceremony.

Softball Growth Awards: Elena Cohen, fifth grade; Andrew Heck, ninth grade; Viktor Smith, seventh grade.

Softball Achievement Awards: Daniel Keller, eight grade; Alex Sorter, fifth grade; Dylan Xavier, 11th grade.

Softball Most Improved Player Brenda Simons, 12th grade.

Softball Most Valuable Player Jacob Campbell, 12th grade.
