Torrey Pines High School girls beat Mt. Miguel in OT, 83-75

Torrey Pines girls basketball has started the season 3-0. They beat Mt. Miguel in a thrilling overtime win; The final score was 83-75.

Sierra Campisano scored 33 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Christina Ellis added 16 points and 7 steals. Madison Lombard added 10 points and 8 assists in the thrilling victory.

Torrey Pines also beat Serra High School and Escondido during the first week of games. They play Granite Hills and Horizon this week and the Kiwanis tournament starts Dec. 17.

Campisano scored her 1000th career point during the first game of the season. Campisano, who made the All State Sophomore team last year, is averaging 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots per game this season.
