Torrey Pines High School lacrosse players make All-America West team

Taylor Scornavacco and Sophia LeRose have been selected to represent the Western United States at the annual Under Armour Underclass Tournament, to be held at Towson University in Baltimore, Md.

Twenty-four girls were chosen from the 13 Western states after a tryout held at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.

The Underclass tournament will feature boys and girls teams from 10 regions across the United States. Taylor will be one of the team’s mid-fielders; Sophia will anchor as goalie.
